I have great memories of being a Camp Napowan with Dorothy and the Little City troop. We would schedule a hike midway through the week for the boys from my troop (468) and others who needed the 5 mile requirement for tenderfoot. We would start early and stop 1/2 way for a Steak and egg breakfast. The shock on the boys faces when the found out that it was hot dogs (steak) and Hard boiled eggs was priceless.(some of the new adults were surprised as well!) For the rest of the week it was fun to see how my scouts would interact with the "boys" from Little city. For that alone it was worth getting up early and walking around camp.
It made for a great experience for the boys
