ORGIEFSKY, ABRAHAM H. "REDS"

Abraham H. (“Reds”) Orgiefsky Age 93, of Skokie, Illinois, passed away Saturday, April 28. Mr. Orgiefsky was born in Atlantic City, NJ. Son of the late Joseph and Rose (nee Litwin) Orgiefsky, and beloved husband of the late Faga Albert Orgiefsky. He was also the dear brother of the late Phillip, Jack, Bessie, and Elizabeth. Mr. Orgiefsky was raised in Philadelphia, and spent his married life and raised his family in Wilmington, DE. He owned and operated the R&F Food Market in Wilmington for many years and then worked at Airbase Carpet Mart in New Castle until he fully retired and moved to Delray Beach, Florida in 2005. He was a WWII veteran, a longtime member of Congregation Beth Shalom, and active in B’nai B’rith. He was a loving father to his children, Joe (Michelle) of Swedesboro, NJ, and Ron (Meredith) of Highland Park, IL. Cherished grandfather of Laurel and Ross, and the late Joshua. He was a beloved uncle to many. Graveside services will be Wednesday, May 2 at 11AM at the Beth Abraham Memorial Park, Rosenhayn, NJ. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that contributions in Mr. Orgiefsky's memory be made to the charitable organization of your choice.
