I have been going for treatments since 1992 after I suffered severe back and hip injuries. At the time I was caring for a paraplegic brother and my mom who had cancer. After each treatment Dr. Rob never hesitated to teach me and practice how to lift and turn them to help minimize my own pain. His caring and dedication was ever present and his door was never closed to his patients, even at midnight. It is so terribly sad that someone who healed so much suffering had to suffer so much himself May you rest in eternal sunshine and peace. May God wrap his arms around your family and hold them tight.

I have been a patient of Rob's for the past 27 years. He has healed my knees, my back, and my spirits. He was such an amazing Doctor and friend. I never saw him get angry or upset, he was always so positive and motivating. Once I came in for an appointment after my mother had passed and he just held me in a hug and said, "sometimes this helps". He was an absolute wizard with his laser and even cleared up an ovarian cyst for me as part of my regular appointment. He treated both my kids with such love and care. He was able to relate to any age. He always explained what he was doing and why he was doing it, I learned so much from him. He was one of a kind. I am so grateful for the 27 years that I had him in my life. He was a beacon of love and light to all that knew him. He will be dearly missed, but I know his spirit is still around, watching over his family, friends and loved ones. Rob,I will see you on the other side in about 40 years....give or take.

It seems like only yesterday I made my first visit, as a 24 year old, (back in 1984) to Rob as I was having trouble staying healthy playing sports. I wanted to try something different and when I told friends/family that I was going to chiropractor they thought I was crazy!! He was in an rather old office right near a liquor storeā€¦just off Waukegan road. The care that I received thru the years was fantastic and he always made me feel better not only physically but with his positive attitude and love for life. Scheduling of appointments was always fun because Rob was NEVER on time!! I always had appointments in the late afternoon but usually wouldn't be "taken in" unitl 5pm or so. I'm usually a stickler for being on time but with Rob you understood that the reason he was late was because he wasn't done with a patient until he had HELPED them!! How could you get mad at that philosophy !! I I always felt better when I left not only from the work Rob had done but from his calmness and LOVE of family!! The office was always run with a family theme where you would see babies/toddlers etc and food would always be out..I mean healthy food was always out. He treated everyone like FAMILY!! He was family to me and I feel awful how someone so young and so devoted to family, friends and work could be taken at such a young age. Though he was taken young I think he got more than his fair share in...he was always doing something or taking care of someone!! I can't tell Susan/Ben/Sam/Noah how terrible sorry I am for your loss but know that he WAS one of the greatest people that I have ever met. He was a total role model of how to a MAN!! I will miss him more than you know!! Much Love Andy
