Owen H. Glantz

Our beloved Owen H. Glantz, 74, of Fort Myers, Florida, passed away peacefully and danced his way to heaven October 2, 2016 surrounded by his loving family. He was preceded in death by his parents Albert and Fay Glantz of Miami FL, and his sister-in-law Ethel LeQuire of Knoxville, TN. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 44 years, Linda, sister Esther Ackerstein (Al), brother Marshall Glantz (Shelley) all of Miami, FL., brother-in-law Herbert LeQuire of Knoxville, TN, sister-in-law Margaret Grabowski (Mark) of Fort Worth, TX, and his most stalwart and loyal friends Fred Brady and John Ammons of Fort Myers, FL. Owen will be sadly missed by his children of the heart, Jennifer Burke (Patrick), and their children Jillian and Elizabeth, Randall Curry (Stephanie), and their children Ryan and Grace all of Texas, his loving and much loved nieces and nephews Scott Ackerstein (Amy), and their children Stephanie and Carli, of Marietta, GA, Elise Dubinsky (David), and their children Joshua and Robyn of Sharon, MA, Eileen Aarons-Glantz (Kim), and their child Ellery, of Tampa, FL, David Glantz (Nikki), and their children Adam, Jake and Drew of Hollywood, FL, Jeffrey LeQuire (Mary), Wesley LeQuire (Rachel) of Knoxville, TN. Numerous cousins, plus countless others for whom he was both friend and mentor; all of whom were touched by the towering figure of a man that was Owen Glantz. Owen achieved successes in his life too numerous to mention, however he most recently retired in 2007 as the owner of Auto Credit of Lee County, FL. A celebration of Owen's life will be held at the marina in Gulf Harbour Yacht & Country Club, 14500 Vista River Drive, Fort Myers, FL 33908 on Tuesday October 18th from 5:30 PM-9PM .
